Afghan cricketer Najeeb Tarakai dies age 29 after road accident


Najeeb Tarakai kicked the bucket subsequent to being fundamentally harmed in a street mishap a week ago, the Afghanistan Cricket Board said.

Afghanistan's top-request batsman Najeeb Tarakai has passed on from wounds continued in a street mishap a week ago, the nation's cricket board said. He was 29. 

ACB … grieves the deplorable and unfortunate loss of its forceful opening batsman and an extremely fine individual… " the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) tweeted on Tuesday. 

The cricket board had before said Tarakai had medical procedure in Nangarhar last Friday after the mishap and had been in basic condition. 

Tarakai made his worldwide presentation in the 2014 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh. He scored 258 runs in the organization in six years at a normal of 21.50 and a strike pace of just about 123. 

The cricketer played his only one-day worldwide against Ireland in 2017 at India's Greater Noida city. He scored 32 in his last excursion for Mis Ainak Knights in the Shpageeza Cricket League a month ago. 

Afghanistan's worldwide cricketers including Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi communicated sympathies via online media over Tarakai's passing. 

It's extremely tragic to get familiar with our companion and exceptionally fine cricketer Najeeb Tarakai lost his life to the wounds he was experiencing the ongoing mishap, Nabi posted. 

His misfortune kept us all paralyzed and confused. My most profound sympathies to his family and all companions. May his spirit find happiness in the hereafter," Nabi said.
